Under the direction of the CAO, the Human Resources Division provides a full range of Human Resources Services to the Township, with 34 full-time employees, over 12 part-time and casual employees and approximately 10 seasonal employees every year.  The Human Resources Division provides expertise in the areas of recruitment, training and development, employee relations, health and safety, policy and procedure administration and providing advice to Managers and Staff on Human Resources related issues.

How do I apply?

Can I submit a resume and/or application that will be kept on file for future vacancies?

Guelph/Eramosa Township does not accept unsolicited resumes or applications for employment. Only applications received for posted jobs will be accepted. We encourage potential applicants to visit our Employment Opportunities page for current opportunities.

I am a student, how do I apply for a summer job?

Summer student positions are posted during a specific period, usually mid-February to mid-March, in which you may submit your resume and application for posted positions.

What documents to I need to provide when I apply?

To be considered for employment you need to submit all documents indicated in the employment posting by the position closing date. Applicants are encouraged to pay particular attention to the job posting, as required application documents may vary for different positions.

I have submitted an application, what now?

If you have applied for a specific postion, your application will be reviewed and candidates shortlisted following the closing date. Only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.
