Council Recognizes Volunteer Efforts of Order of the Bear

At the Regular Meeting of Council on April 1, 2019, the Council of the Township of Guelph/Eramosa thanked all volunteers within the community for dedicating their time to making Guelph/Eramosa a great place to live!

On April 1, 2019, at the Regular Meeting of Council, Mayor and Council recognized the volunteer efforts of members of the Order of the Bear.  Under the leadership of Frank Marsh, the Order of the Bear was formed by a group of neighbours in Rockwood who shared a love of board games and card games.  The group now uses a space in the basement of the Rockmosa Community Centre and their doors are open for anyone who wants to come out and take part or learn a new game.  The Order of the Bear has become a community hub and a safe, positive space for youth - and people of all ages!  On behalf of the Mayor and Members of Council, thank you to the Order of the Bear and to Frank Marsh!
