Tree Debris Clean-Up - Update

The Township of Guelph/Eramosa continues to clear tree debris along Township roadways from the recent ice storm. We have completed debris pick-up in all residential areas including: Everton, Eden Mills, Rockwood, Hamilton Dr./Cross Creek subdivisions and Gazer Mooney subdivision. If you reside in these areas and still have tree debris from the ice storm, you may take tree debris to a local Wellington County Waste Facility. Until May 31, Wellington County residents can drop off ice storm related brush material free of charge. For more information, visit the County of Wellington website.

We will continue to clear branches in the rural areas of the Township.

You can help us by making sure that tree branches have been moved to the front of the property or the street side and boulevard area in a safe location. Please stack branches as best you can and ensure that the branches do not encroach on roads. Please note that we will not be picking up any debris left on the road side that is not related to the ice storm. At the Township’s discretion, other yard waste such as pruned trees, grass clippings etc. will be left for disposal by the property owner.
