Road Closure - Wellington Road 50 (Harris Street)

J.O. Goetz Construction Limited (Goetz) will be reconstructing Wellington County Road 50 (Harris Street) on behalf of the County of Wellington.
Construction on Wellington Road 50 (Harris Street) is expected to commence the week of June 17.
As result, Harris Street will be closed to all but local traffic. Detour routes will be signed by the County in advance of construction.
Triton Engineering (Triton) is the County of Wellington’s engineering consultant for the project. Township watermain along Harris Street will be replaced as part of the project. The Project limits are from Highway 7 (Main Street south) to the railway crossing just outside the Rockwood hamlet limits.
Representatives from Triton will be contacting affected residents along Harris Street directly commencing this week. Goetz will be contacting affected residents the week of June 10 regarding preconstruction survey of properties within the construction area and details regarding the provision of temporary water while the watermain is replaced.
All closure notices and correspondence with residents for this project will be through the County or consultant (Triton) and/or Goetz Construction.
