On Monday, February 28, the Township of Guelph/Eramosa re-opened the Municipal Office, located at 8348 Wellington Road 124, for in-person services. Our regular office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Services, such as, but not limited to, purchasing a dog tag license, registering for programming, booking a facility and filing a complaint, will continued to be offered online. The public is encouraged to continue taking advantage of the many service delivery options available online as they facilitate quick and efficient transactions.
Patrons are also welcome to drop-in to receive on-demand services, such as paying a tax or water bill, purchasing garbage bags, dropping off plans and/or drawings for building and/or planning applications or applying for a marriage license. Staff will also be happy to assist members of the public in familiarizing themselves and becoming more comfortable with navigating and utilizing the Township’s online services.
Patrons must contact the Township in advance of attending the office to book a mutually convenient date and time to meet with staff to discuss any enforcement, planning and/or building related matters.
The Municipal Office capacity will be limited to permit physical distancing of two metres at all times. Patrons wishing to visit the Municipal Office must:
- wear a mask (age 2+)
- adhere to all other public health measures
When visiting municipal facilities, please:
- Complete the mandatory screening
- wear a mask
- maintain social distancing
- wash/sanitize your hands
On February 22, 2022 at the Regular Meeting of Council Mayor Chris White, declared the State of Emergency for Guelph/Eramosa Township in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to be terminated as of 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2022.
All recreation facilities are open including drop-in programs and rentals, with posted capacity limits. People 12 and older must show their enhanced vaccine certificate QR codes or medical exemption. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

Building Permits
- Patrons wishing to discuss a building permit application will be required to schedule an appointment with the Building Department. Please contact building@get.on.ca
Dog Tag Licences
- The next tax installment due date is February 28, 2022. Tax payments will be accepted at the Municipal Office. Patrons are also reminded that:
- There is an option to receive your bills through email billing.
- If you wish to receive your water bill through email, please click here for more information.

- We would also like to remind residents that the Township offers online banking and pre-authorized payment as additional options for water bill and tax payments:
- 1) Online Banking - please go to your financial institution’s online banking app or website and sign in. In the search bar you will enter Guelph/Eramosa and proceed with set up.
- 2) Pre-authorized Payment Plan – click here and complete the PAP Enrollment Form and forward to:
- Water Department: kskinnerosmond@get.on.ca. You will be advised through email when your PAP set up has been completed.
- Tax Department: lvanalstine@get.on.ca. You will be advised through email when your PAP set up has been completed.
As of March 7, 2022, patrons will be permitted to attend Council and Committee meetings in-person. Capacity limits will apply. Council meetings will continue to be live-streamed for virtual viewing and participation.
