Parks and Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of recreational services and facilities to promote active living and enhance the quality of life in the community.

Primary responsibilities of the Parks and Recreation Department include:

• Maintenance and care of existing parks, trails and open spaces
• Managing and developing municipal community facilities and sports facilities
• Recreational programming
• Planning and staging the Annual Family Day Event
• Working with community organizations and sporting groups
