Carroll Street has been reopened.

Watermain repair completed. Distribution system is in normal operation. Road remains closed while crews continue to backfill and temporary asphalt repair.

A water main break has been discovered on Carroll St at Wetherald St. in Rockwood. Township staff are onsite working on a repair.
Construction and detour signs will be posted at each end of the work area. Please exercise caution and obey all signage placed for your safety.
Once water is restored, we recommend you,
- Run the cold water for a few minutes to clear any water discolouration from your service (remove tap filter before you begin.
- It is recommended to run the water (flush service) from the lowest point (or closest tap to the inside water meter) to help prevent discoloured water from moving to an upper level.
- If you have a water softener or water purification system, place it on bypass before flushing the cold water to prevent clogging the filter.
- Do this before flushing toilets or operating washing machines and dishwashers.
