The Gladys Hanna Chapel was designed by local architect Charles Simon and was constructed in 1991. The funds for construction of this chapel were generously donated by Rockwood resident Gladys Hanna.
The 2022 Rockwood Cemetery Annual Service of Remembrance scheduled for Wednesday June 15th, 2022 has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus. Our residents safety and health remain paramount to continue to learn to live with COVID. Township staff understand this is an important service to members of our community who are dealing with loss and always encourage visiting your loved ones.
Staff understand the Cemetery is a very important part of the healing process when dealing with loss and we want to reassure the community that regular maintenance will continue at the Rockwood Cemetery during the pandemic. When visiting the cemetery please practice physical distancing with people that live outside of your household.
