Summary: All property owners are required to maintain their property in relation to the surrounding properties and residents.
The Property Standards By-law applies to matters such as: dilapidated buildings in need of maintenance work such as paint, eaves troughing, holes in the roof, deterioration on the exterior or unsafe conditions, holes in foundations, steps not safe, and unoccupied buildings not closed off to public access.
