Summary:
The Ontario Weed Control Act is enforced through the By-law Enforcement Services in the Township. The Township Clean Yards By-law and Property Standards By-law include specific provisions pertaining to the maintenance of weeds.
Owners and or tenants of properties are responsible to maintain their property to ensure all weeds must be cut (8 inches in height) to control the growth and spreading of noxious weeds.
Noxious weeds must be maintained/controlled on a continuous basis starting from June 15 yearly.
