Name of By-law/Concern: Election Sign By-law

Summary: At this time, the Township of Guelph/Eramosa does not have a Sign By-law regulating the display of signs or requirement for A-Frame, Mobile Signs or similar type of signs.
Fixed signs depending on size and type might need to meet the requirement of the Ontario Building Code Act through an official Building Permit application.
The erection of Bag and Lawn signs on public property is considered as littering and will be enforced under the Township’s Dumping By-law.
The Township, however, does regulates the erection of Election signs under the Election Sign By-law.
